Your profile page needs to show that you're a person, otherwise very few people will accept you as a Friend. You need to favorite some videos, photos, or stories. You need an avatar. You need to leave some comments on peoples' content. Your profile page needs to say something about you. You need to upload some content, maybe start with a blog or two, then some photos, then some videos if you figure out how to do that (I never did, but I did the other stuff).
